Privacy policy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

This policy covers the techbureau.au website and the forms on it. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past. Last updated 5 November 2026.

Who we are

Innovative Mind Solutions Pty Ltd, trading as Tech Bureau, ABN 40 644 252 022, 9 Waratah Street, Cronulla NSW 2230. Questions about this policy: alexey@techbureau.au or 0487 058 065.

What we collect

Forms on this site. The self-check, the readiness checklist and the policy download ask for a name, a business or organisation name, a work email address, and your answers to the questions on the form. The Tradie Web Co. quote form asks for a name, a business name, your trade, your suburb or service area, a phone number, an email address and what you need help with. Nothing is submitted until you press the button, and each form says what it collects above the button.

Bookings. Calls are booked through Calendly, which collects the name, email and time you give it under Calendly's privacy policy.

Nothing else. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and uses no tracking pixels. The web host (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and for a limited time.

Why we collect it

To show you the result the form promises, to contact you once about it if you asked us to, to reply to a quote request, and to understand what kinds of businesses are asking which questions. We do not sell or share the information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If we ever start one, it will be opt-in and say so.

Where it is kept

Form answers are stored in a spreadsheet in Tech Bureau's Google Workspace account, accessible to the director and to the engineer handling your enquiry. Google stores it under Google's privacy policy; its data centres may be outside Australia. We keep form answers for twelve months, then delete them unless you have become a client.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by emailing alexey@techbureau.au. We answer within ten business days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

AI tools

We do not feed the information you give us on this site into any AI tool. Tech Bureau is below the Privacy Act's small business threshold, and we follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway, because we ask our clients to.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything that affects what we do with information already collected is announced on this page before it takes effect.
